Smart Construction Group built the chemical warehouse and storage shed for SC Johnson Wax under consultant EGEC, delivering steel structure, sandwich panel cladding, civil works and MEP installation as an integrated package.
Chemical storage carries requirements a general warehouse does not: containment, ventilation, separation of incompatible materials and fire protection all shape the design, and the building envelope has to perform against the substances stored inside it. SCG coordinated the steel frame, insulated cladding and building services together so penetrations, supports and containment details were resolved before erection rather than cut in afterwards. Delivering safe-storage facilities for a multinational FMCG manufacturer reflects the standard of execution SCG applies to safety-critical industrial buildings.
