Smart Construction Group delivered the MEP and industrial drainage systems for the Polygon Pharma manufacturing facility, working under consultant Alex Design. The scope covered MEP works, plumbing installation and stainless steel industrial process drainage.

Process drainage is a detail that decides whether a pharmaceutical facility passes inspection. Stainless drainage is specified because it resists the chemicals used in production and cleaning, cleans down without harbouring residue, and stands up to repeated sanitisation — but it only performs if falls, joints and connections are executed correctly. SCG installed the drainage and plumbing systems alongside the wider MEP scope, coordinating routing and penetrations against the structure so the finished installation is accessible, maintainable and built for a regulated production environment.
