C6013-HSE Specialist
HSE Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction and contracting projects, with recognized certifications in occupational health and safety, first aid, and fire safety.
We are looking for an experienced HSE Specialist to join our team and ensure the effective implementation of occupational health and safety standards across construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring site activities, identifying hazards, conducting inspections and risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices.
What you'll do
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions
- Identify hazards and participate in risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses
- Ensure proper implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions for workers
- Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions
- Assist in incident and near-miss investigations
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work requirements
- Maintain HSE records, reports, inspection checklists, and other safety documentation
- Coordinate with site management to resolve safety issues
- Promote a positive safety culture among employees and workers
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE in construction and contracting projects
- Valid First Aid Certificate from the Egyptian Red Crescent
- Valid Fire Safety Certificate from Civil Defense
- OSHA certification
- IOSH certification
- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements and regulations
- Good knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions
- Good reporting and documentation skills
- Valid experience certificates documenting previous employment
- Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment
